Carol Klein is one of the most popular and influential gardening experts working in the media today, famous for her regular role as a presenter on Gardeners’ World.
Carol has fronted many series, including Wild about the garden, Grow Your Own Veg and Open Gardens. She originally trained as a fine artist and spent many years teaching art in schools and colleges. She started gardening and running a nursery from her home in Devon, and her passion eventually became a career.
She began exhibiting at RHS shows in 1990 and went on to win many gold medals including six at The Chelsea Flower Show. Carol is also presenting a brand new series of Gardeners’ World. Her four part Plant Odysseys was broadcast on BBC2 in summer 2016 following Carol exploring some of our favourite flowers in a 4 part series.
2018 is an exciting year as Carol has announced six tour dates for her UK Tour, Life in a Cottage Garden which follows on from her 2014 TV series and book. She’s also visiting Japan, The Netherlands and South Africa.
In addition she will be presenting from all the major flower shows including The Chelsea Flower Show. She has recently been awarded the Victoria Medal of Honour, the highest accolade the RHS can bestow.
