As Covid-19 continues to impact the global community, the Carlow Garden Festival have introduced new operating protocols based on the guidance being issued by the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) and the Government. These guidelines are closely monitored and adapted in light of any changes introduced.

We are committed to protecting the health, safety and well-being of all our audiences, gardening personalities and staff. The following measures have been put in place to ensure the safety and protection of everyone at this year’s festival.

FACE COVERINGS All attendees will be required to wear a face at covering at all times. Where an attendee may have forgotten a face covering a supply will be provided at the registration point in each venue.

PERSONAL PROTECTION Hand sanitisers will be located at all entry and exit points to each garden venue.

CAPACITY & DENSITY The events take place in outdoor settings. A safe distance of 2 metre will be measured and maintained at each event with each permitting no more than the maximum outlined in government guidelines (COVID-19 Resilience and Recover 2021 – The Path Ahead). Visitors are reminded to dress appropriately in line with the weather conditions of the day.

CONTRACT TRACING – Contact details taken at the time of booking will be retained for 28 days to facilitate contact tracing and thereafter disposed of in line with GDPR guidelines

Please respect hand and respiratory hygiene advice, physical distancing and mask wearing guidelines applicable to COVID-19 and any additional guidelines advised on the day.
