Join Thomas Pakenham, world famous author and tree-expert, on a tour of the extensive tree collection in Newtownbarry House. Aside from the wonderful collection of trees you are guaranteed to enjoy Thomas Pakenham’s outright funny and entertaining manner.
A Victorian house built in the 19th century by the Hall-Dare family which still remains in their ownership. In a guided tour enjoy the top-lit picture gallery, the carved staircase, fine fireplaces and the library with an assored collection of books from family members. Currently exhibiting Mothers and Daughters in the gallery, a mixed show of four painters.
