An informative and engaging guided tour of these charming gardens is promised by Neil Porteous. Enjoy the lawns, ancient trees, rose garden, lake and the recently restored 18th and 19th century sunken garden. Covering two acres, this is a colourful walled garden which includes a formal oval pool, a fountain and a series of borders filled with shrubs and herbaceous perennials.

Newtownbarry House, a magnificent Victorian house built in the late 19th century by the Hall-Dare family still remains in their ownership. In a guided tour enjoy some of the stunning house features which include a top-lit picture gallery currently exhibiting Mothers and Daughters, a mixed show of four painters. Other notable features include the richly carved staircase, fine fireplaces and the library with an assorted collection of books from family members.
