Paul Martin, designer of the 16th garden at the Delta Sensory Gardens will conduct an interactive workshop providing practical tips to maximise the health and wellness opportunities within your own garden.

Creating Raised Beds with Suitable Planting
There are many fine examples of raised beds within Delta Sensory Gardens. Paul Martin will demonstrate how raised beds can be created, on normal path levels or through sunken areas and will advise on the most suitable planting and herb options. Workshop attendees will be able to see how plants like thyme, chamomile and oregano adapt in raised beds. Paul Martin will also give advice on the many types of paving suitable to the Irish climate.
